If we must feel fulfilled in our marriage, the definition of a perfect spouse must change for a lot of us.
Character perfect spouse does NOT EXIST ANYWHERE. You can only have intention perfect spouses (spouse with perfect intention towards you).
Maybe we can define a perfect spouse this way:
One who loves me and because of this will not INTENTIONALLY hurt me.
One whose aim is to see me happy all the time.
If his/her intended act of love hurts me in anyways, he/she is willing first to apologize, and then make me realize he/she did not mean to make me unhappy.
Saying “sorry” and meaning it is a vital part of long-lasting relationships. It is one great way to show you value your relationship..
